Back at Run-N-Slam, I got a chance to watch a lot of under-the-radar prospects and one of them was Jack Van Order Jack Van Order 6'1" | SG Carroll | 2027 IN . Van Order ran its Indy Heat Red the thing that impressed me the most was his aggressiveness on the attack. Really like his length and willingness to compete in the backcourt. Should be a standout for Carroll this season after a strong summer.

This 6’1″ guard from Carroll (Fort Wayne) High School suited up with Summit City Elite – Schultz over the weekend and turned in several big time scoring performances. Van Order had games of 26 points, 29 points, and 26 points in wins over the course of the weekend. He stretches the floor well as a catch-and-shoot threat, but also attacks closeouts well and has a good pull-up game off of the dribble. Obviously we didn’t see him in person this weekend, but the production was notable.

A under-the-radar guard that I had a chance to watch on Saturday afternoon was Jack Van Order Jack Van Order 6'1" | SG Carroll | 2027 IN out of Carroll HS. Van Order runs with Indy Heat 17u-Red and is most of the times the guard that gets things going for them. Super aggressive on the attack with a strong first step from the perimeter. Really like his length and willingness to compete in the backcourt.

Van Order had a solid junior season for Carroll (Fort Wayne) High School shooting it well from three-point range and stepping up as one of the Chargers’ top perimeter scorers. He will look to do the same for Indy Heat Red 17u. This weekend at Run N Slam will be a good opportunity to evaluate the long, lean shooting guard against a high level of competition.

We’ve seen Van Order get hot from three-point range a few times throughout this spring and summer for Indy Heat 16u. It was nice to see it one more time to close things out at the GRBA National Championship. The 6’1″ rising junior guard at Carroll (Fort Wayne) High School scored 16 points in a contest on Friday night showcasing his shot-making ability from the perimeter. Look for him to step into an expanded scoring role for the Chargers this coming season.

This Carroll (Fort Wayne) High School product caught fire early in the game and went on to score a game-high 25 points in a hard fought 68-62 win for Indy Heat Red 16u on Saturday morning. Van Order, a skilled 6’1” guard that can really shoot it from three-point range, displayed that skill throughout the game and dominated the game at times with his perimeter scoring ability.
