Sullivan announced that he will continue his academic and athletic careers at Yale University. Heading to the NEPSAC for a post-graduate year after playing his high school ball in Florida, Sullivan was a major stock riser this summer coming out of the NEPSAC Showcase. He’s another prospect that has an impressive skillset for his size, showing the ability to take over a game in the paint or from the perimeter. He’s a high IQ, mobile big man that takes every opportunity he gets to punish the rims, but also has a great looking jumper from behind the arc. Recently, he’s proven capable of making plays from the perimeter and attacking closeouts off the bounce. Defensively, he rebounds above the rim, does a good job of walling up in the post, and provides rim protection from the weak side on drives. Sullivan gives Yale a rapidly improving post prospect that has the ability to quickly carve out a rotation spot as a floor spacing big in the Ivy League.

6-foot-10 big man with a solid back to the basket game and a really high-level understanding of screening and rolling angles. He displayed some great touch around the rim and I imagine his shooting from the mid-range and three will improve with time. He’s already hearing from Ivy and Patriot League coaches, and more D1 programs will certainly be on the way.

The 6-8 rising senior power forward has a smooth inside-out game where he can shoot from beyond the arc at a consistent rate. He is also a hard worker in the gym whether it’s practice or in the game. Sullivan plays with a high basketball IQ and can finish around the rim against stronger defenders. He is poised to have a strong senior season after his junior year was cut short due to a wrist injury.

There is a lot to like about Sullivan. He is another Inside-Outside big man who finishes in traffic consistently; The Mikan drills were on display. Overall, he was efficient and patient in the post. He even stepped out to the 3pt line and showed the ability to knock it down as well. He posed as a solid rim protector and rebounder. Sullivan was not shy to switch on a guard as he was willing to compete. Good talent for the class of 2024.
