Moving into the top 32, McCune earned the first region player of the year award and has seen multiple scholarship offers come his way. Jack has really grown his game over his high school career and will end up as one of the best McCracken Mustangs in the short school history.

McCracken intends to get back to Rupp Arena after missing out on a trip last season and McCune and fellow Senior Ian Hart Ian Hart Ian Hart 6'7" | PF McCracken County | 2023 State KY are likely the best duo in the first region. Jack is a big guard who is comfortable as a catch and shoot threat or putting the ball on the floor and attacking the paint.

It’s really a toss up between Hart and McCune as to who is the better prospect. Jack is more of a natural scorer and has a high upside long term. Both will go to college for free.

Mccune can play just about any position on the floor. Could be a perfect “stretch 4” at the next level. Above average athlete with good strength and length. Good 3pt shooter off the catch. Right hand driver. Has a good feel in the post with a good right hook. Good passer seeing over defenders.  Plays with a high IQ and can play above the rim in transition. Mccune again will be one of the best players in Western Kentucky and will be able to fill a lot of different roles both at the high school and college level.
