Part of a loaded roster at Caverna, Graves is a good athletic with length and athleticism. Jaciyon projects as more of a 4 man or even a 3 at the next level. Exceling in the open floor, Graves should benefit from some time in the weight room and continuing to expand his overall skill level.

I’ve been high on Graves for a while and it’s a pretty simple evaluation for myself. Graves blocks shots, plays above the rim with dunks and can space the floor. You do those three things as a forward and you will impact winning. On Thursday, Graves had a handful of blocks, a couple of two-hand jams and knocked down one 3-pointer and one mid-range fallaway. That skillset should be valuable for JUCO, Division II and NAIA programs.

Graves was dominant in the second half of Caverna’s opening round victory over Great Crossing. Graves opened up the second half with back-to-back buckets, showing immediate aggressiveness out of the locker room. Knocking down a couple pick and pop jumpers, Graves can space the floor out with his perimeter shooting ability. In a nice pick and roll set Graves rolled hard to the rim and threw down a monster dunk that got the large Caverna traveling crowd up on their feet. One of the more versatile bigs in western Kentucky, Graves can impact the game in a variety of ways.

Jaciyon Graves Jaciyon Graves 6'7" | C/PF Caverna | 2026 State KY is a skilled forward with size, length, and versatility that make him a tough matchup on both ends of the floor. At Danville last season, he averaged 9.3 points and 9.1 rebounds in 16 games, narrowly missing a double-double. Graves can step out and knock down threes at a 36% clip, use his length to finish in traffic, and impact the game above the rim as both a scorer and rebounder. His ability to stretch the floor while also providing a strong presence inside gives him true dual-threat potential. Defensively, he alters shots with his length and brings consistent energy on the glass. With his athleticism, perimeter touch, and developing all-around game, Graves is a high-ceiling prospect still tapping into his best basketball.

Graves moves up from 97th to 56th in this update and should stand out a little more on a Caverna roster that has a lot of firepower and will be firmly in the mix to be a top 5-10 team in Kentucky in the preseason. Jaciyon is a pretty good athlete and is confident in playing inside or out. Caverna has a loaded roster but Jaciyon should make an impact early and often this season.

Narrowly missing averaging a double double this high school season, Graves is a high ceiling player who is still working towards his best basketball. Jaciyon averaged 9 points and 9 rebounds for Danville and showed potential as a big wing as he shot 36% from three this season and should continue to boost his stock as he gets more comfortable away from the basket and developing into a two way threat.

Averaging 8 points and 9 rebounds per game so far in his Junior year, Graves is player with a bunch of potential thanks to his size and emerging skill set. He’s still got to figure out how to get his motor running all game, every game but Jaciyon is a later bloomer who is only going to get better and better.
