Expert Analysis
Marcus Helton | Prep Hoops Scout
The MVP of Meade’s junior varsity squad last year, David will be counted on to contribute at the varsity level and has all the tools to do so. The 6-foot-2, 170-pounder impressed with his athleticism and feel, and didn’t show any hesitation in attacking the basket or mixing it up defensively.
Meade coach Mike Glick is very high on David’s potential, and it’s easy to understand why. He played with great composure, handled pressure well, and consistently found ways to affect the game whether scoring in transition, attacking off the dribble, or defending.

-My first time seeing David play after hearing a ton about his consistency last season at the JV level. David is a confident shooter off the catch, attacks closeouts effectively from the wings, chips in effectively on the glass, and can guard either guard spot for his team. Love the arc and consistency on his jumper as a prospect that shoots the same shot each time. David also plays with a poise and aggression that you usually don’t see out of an underclassmen, fully expect him to make a name for himself this season as a key piece for a Mustangs team looking to return to the state championship game.
