About Isaiya

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A winning-first point guard who controls the pace of the game, elevates teammates, and does whatever it takes on both ends of the floor.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Competitive and team-first. I hold myself to a high standard every day and do whatever the team needs to win — whether that’s scoring, defending, or getting others involved. I let my work ethic speak for itself.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Member of the Fashion Club, demonstrating creativity and a commitment to interests beyond the court.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing at the prep level has sharpened my leadership and teamwork on a daily basis. Competing against high-level talent every night forces you to communicate, trust your teammates, and lead by example. Those qualities carry over into everything I do.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Being one of the smallest guards on the court has never held me back — it’s a challenge for my opponents. I compete with a giant’s mentality, and that mindset combined with my skill set makes me a problem at any level.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a program that genuinely wants me and believes in what I bring to the table. When a coaching staff is invested in my development and success, I will give everything I have in return.

Branch is a quick, scoring, sharp shooting lead guard who consistently creates offense with the basketball in his hands. Very skilled off the dribble, he changes speeds well and does an excellent job keeping defenders off balance while attacking downhill. The junior is a confident shot maker with deep shooting range and the ability to create his own offense at multiple levels. He also shows a strong understanding of how to use ball screens effectively to create scoring opportunities for himself and keep the defense in rotation.
