Ignore the height and school. McCree is much taller than that, has a next level frame. He attends Detroit Catholic Central as well. Putting him with the PG’s may raise some eyebrows, but let’s look at what he did this weekend. McCree handled the ball without over dribbling and got it to it’s spots with handles and passes. He made excellent decisions with the ball and played efficiently, shooting and scoring when he had good looks. Sounds like a high level PG to me.

If you have followed my work for a while, this name comes as no surprise. I really like what McCree brings to the table as a player and prospect. He’s a very high IQ player that can feel the action. McCree is a versatile guard that can effectively play on or off the ball and is a terrific perimeter defender.

McCree can be seen with the Motor City Grizzlies . He had an excellent first week of grassroots ball and I’d expect him to back it up this weekend. McCree is an efficient 2 way guard that can score and defend. He’s a much improved passer as well, and you’ll be able to see that in Grand Rapids.

McCree has always been high on my list because of his well rounded game and ability to be a big factor on both ends of the floor. That appears to be what people saw from him this weekend with the Grizzlies.

I’ve been a huge fan of McCree’s game since he stepped into high school. If you want earth shattering numbers, that’s not what he’s all about. What McCree IS all about is making smart plays and winning plays. He’s a smooth athlete that has very free range of movement.

McCree is another well rounded player that can scare an opponent in a variety of ways. He can play on or off the ball and is a smooth athlete with good hip movement. McCree can fill it up from behind the arc, but he showed at the Sophomore ID Camp that he can attack to the right with blow by speed.

McCree is a must see prospect if a coach is looking for someone trustworthy with the ball that can make plays. He wasn’t just efficient. He was FAST. On multiple occasions I saw McCree flat out blow by defenders on his way to the rim.

Shooting off the bounce isn’t an easy thing, but this elite all around athlete showed that he can do it with ease. McCree smoothly transitioned from dribble to shooter’s pocket and buried a 3 pointer.
