If Federal Way is able to create turnovers, he will likely be in the middle of it all and can finish with the best of them on the other end.

Afework is another tone setter for the Eagles because he plays with that same nonstop mindset as Weems. He’s a wing but plays with the heart of a big man and makes sure to mix it up in every loose ball he can get to. He’s a huge factor on the boards, slashes to the hoop with intent, and takes playing defense personally. I imagine he has set the bar pretty high entering his final season at Federal Way.

to make one of the toughest defensive duos in the state. Like Weems, Afework goes all out until the last buzzer. He’s strong, quick, and works to cover every inch of the court. He plays big inside but is still capable of scoring from the outside. Afework leads through his play and is certainly a guy you want to avoid when he has a head of steam.
