Weaver caught our eye at Tune Up because he did things that led to his team picking up easy wins. He showcased that he could be a player worth following when he got it done defensively and impacted games on that end of the floor. He’s a player who is patient, unselfish and can score when needed. He’s a high-IQ prospect, and that kind of play translates at a showcase. We want to see him there. 

Weaver put together a really impressive tournament for 7070, making an impact without always needing the ball in his hands. He worked tirelessly off the ball, constantly relocating and finding open space to create quality scoring opportunities. When the defense applied pressure, he stayed composed and consistently got to his spots, showing confidence in his offensive game. On the defensive end Weaver competed every possession, staying in front of his man and making opponents earn everything. His effort, discipline and feel for the game stood out all weekend, making him an exciting player to keep an eye on as he continues to develop
