Weaver is the type of prospect who can influence a game without needing the ball constantly in his hands and that stood out in our summer evaluations. He reads the floor well while competing defensively and consistently makes the kind of plays that lead to winning possessions. When opportunities come his way offensively he stays within himself while moving the ball and can step up as a scorer when his team needs it. That versatility and feel give him a strong foundation moving forward. We like the overall makeup of Weaver’s game and believe he’s a player whose stock could continue to rise with more exposure

Weaver caught our eye at Tune Up because he did things that led to his team picking up easy wins. He showcased that he could be a player worth following when he got it done defensively and impacted games on that end of the floor. He’s a player who is patient, unselfish and can score when needed. He’s a high-IQ prospect, and that kind of play translates at a showcase. We want to see him there.

He worked tirelessly off the ball, constantly relocating and finding open space to create quality scoring opportunities.
