Expert Analysis
Victor Taylor | Prep Hoops Scout
Oxendine is continuing to make waves with Grassroots NC on the Puma NXT circuit, and could be in line to put together a gigantic senior season for Leesville Road this upcoming season. With some more talent around him, he should be able to score the ball at a very high clip with more room to get his patented perimeter jumper off. He can put the ball in the basket at multiple spots, guard people in the backcourt at a solid clip, and should be someone D3 schools or others get eyes on. He’s been productive all of high school and AAU against good competition.

Oxendine is a skilled offensive guard from Leesville Road, who just had a great showing on the NXTPRO circuit last week with Grassroots NC. He’s an accomplished scorer and shooter with parking lot range and an ability to pick his spots well and take efficient shots. Solid defender who can hold his own and stay in front of the ball defensively. Looked good as a playmaker and creator for others this weekend while still scoring the ball, which bodes well if he can add a bit of skills in that area to his game.

is a combo guard playing at Leesville Road High School. He has big time shooting ability and big time confidence to match. If you give him space he will make you pay. He couples his shooting ability with the ability to attack closeouts aggressively and finish at the rim. He is a player to continue to watch the rest of the high school season and throughout summer travel ball.

Last Season Stats – N/A
Oxendine is a gifted scorer that continues to get better and better by each time I see him. It all starts with his ability to torch from the perimeter, with a flamethrower of a three point jump shot especially as a spot up threat. He can create for himself a little bit but primarily does his damage off the ball as a cutter and spacer. Decent passer and defender on and off the ball, which makes him playable even when his shot isn’t falling. He should be in line for another impressive year over at Leesville.
