A prospect I’ve watched numerous times before Saturday, I actually think the first game on Saturday was the best performance I’ve seen from Smith this year. He was playing aggressive on the perimeter and knocking down a high percentage of the open 3-point shots that fell to him. Took a rebound coast to coast for an easy finish and had another impressive drive and score off an isolation move. His most impressive move of the day was an in and out crossover move to a righty finish at the rim. Look for Smith to try and build off this momentum heading into his senior season.

Saturday was the best I’ve ever seen Smith play at multiple phases of the game. Shooting it well from the outside off the catch and also playing hard and grabbing numerous offensive rebounds, Smith tried his best to lead his team to an elite 8 berth. Falling just short at the end, Smith was efficient scoring from 3-point range and the free throw line on Saturday.

Smith has some good length for him. Made plays late in the game I watched. Used his length well to get up shots and layups. Had some nice tough finishes over and around defenders. Multiple good takes.
