Gio Quiles showed his high-level offensive feel at June Jam. Gio was extremely smart and patient under the rim. He used pump fakes and hop steps to create open looks for himself down low, and converted on these shots at a high clip. Gio showed that he is a decisive driver and scorer, using his shoulders to bump off defenders and get rim finishes or pull-up mid-range buckets. Gio was also very active on the boards throughout this event, and showed his great ability to be a decision maker in an offense, making great reads and finding many open teammates with timely passes. Gio Quiles was always making the right play at June Jam, and that is where he thrives.
