Expert Analysis
Tony Roe | Prep Hoops Scout
While Crane set the tone in the paint for the Maroons, Martens was the tone setter on the perimeter. Senior’s guards really struggled to keep the 6-0 senior guard in front of them, as he was able to consistently use dribble penetration to get into the teeth of the defense and either score, get to the free-throw line, or set up his teammates. He played a great all-around floor game, finishing with a game-high 18 points on 5-11 shooting (1-3 3P, 7-10 FT), 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.

is a ball hawk. Noah got a bountiful amount of steals throughout this game vs Lincoln. He was always in the passing lanes, baiting opponents, sprinting and using his quick hands to collect steals. His feel on the defensive end was very impressive. He was always in position and predicted his opponents’ next moves very consistently. Off of these interceptions, he was very difficult to slow down on the break. He showcased great speed and vertical athleticism, and dunked on the fast break multiple times. His passing on offense was great. He made very quick reads and timely plays, finding his teammates for open shots and keeping the offense flowing.
