Njogu was the focal point of a modified 1-2-2 defense that was extremely effective when deployed by Manual. His intensity, lateral quickness, and active hands caused problems for the opposing offense and led to several fast break opportunities for the Crimsons. He also showcased some mature court awareness and tough finishing around the rim to end the night with 13 points on 6/11 shooting from the field.

Njogu impacts the game on both ends. He attacks the basket in transition and the half court and can score over defenders. His athleticism enables him to grab rebounds at a high rate. He creates turnovers with active hands and great anticipation.

Long and athletic, Geoffrey passes the eye test at the wing spot and will likely push for playing time next season for a Manual team that has a heavy veteran presence. It remains to be seen how skilled Njogu is because we just haven’t seen enough of him at this point. He’s a prospect that could move way up or down the rankings in the next update.
