Expert Analysis
Jay Anderson | Prep Hoops Scout
Cerda is quite the competitor in the backcourt as he starred in the Millbrook High backcourt as they went 21-8 on the year and 9-1 in conference action. He’s a lead guard that made an impact in the Wildcats backcourt in 2022-23, putting up 12.9 ppg, 5.6 apg, 5.2 rpg and 3.1 spg as a playmaker and two-way presence in their rotation. He has a knack for wreaking havoc around the ball when he’s on the floor. He’s a prospect DII and DIII programs in the region should get eyes on.

Cerda is just a player that get things done. He is efficient with his touches and contributes in multiple phases of the game. His well rounded game was on display in the Millbrook High School playoff game vs Hillside. In the game, he scored 15 points on 70% shooting. He also grabbed 8 rebounds, dished out 6 assists, and had 4 steals. Millbrook is one of the best teams in the state and Cerda’s consistency and dependability is important to the teams continued success.

Cerda is another underrated guard in the 919 area with Millbrook High that’s having a strong 2022-23 campaign. He’s currently posting 11.4 ppg, 7.3 apg, 6.1 rpg and 2.3 spg for the Wildcats as they’re currently 6-1 on the young season. He’s a guard that plays both ends of the floor with a ton of energy and constantly looks to make his presence felt on the floor.
