Throughout the season, Ben had been a productive player but on Tuesday he exploded for 29 points on 11 of 13 shooting including 7 for 9 from the 3 point line. While East Wake season has come to an end, Ben could be a valuable player next season as he potentially steps into a bigger role.

Cerda is just a player that get things done. He is efficient with his touches and contributes in multiple phases of the game. His well rounded game was on display in the Millbrook High School playoff game vs Hillside. In the game, he scored 15 points on 70% shooting. He also grabbed 8 rebounds, dished out 6 assists, and had 4 steals. Millbrook is one of the best teams in the state and Cerda’s consistency and dependability is important to the teams continued success.
Prince is a name to know if you do not know it already. He uses his athleticism to attack the basket and has good mechanics on his jump shot. Prince score 31 points on 11 of 13 shooting his playoff game against Jacksonville. Along with his 31 points, he chipped in 6 rebounds, 2 assist, and 3 steals. He has major ability and should be garnering more attention as he prepares for the spring travel season.

Ja’merl is a playmaking guard that can score and distribute to teammates. He is committed to Mount Olive and it is easy to see why. His abilities were on full display during his Lumberton squad playoff game versus Clayton. In that game he had 22 points on 7 of 13 shooting. He also delivered 8 assist and 5 rebounds. He will continue to be needed as Lumberton will face a tough Richmond team in their next round game.
