Gizzi found different ways to keep his team in the game, showing an ability to impact the action on both ends. He did a nice job attacking the basket, drawing fouls, and earning trips to the foul line. Gizzi also connected on several three-pointers, giving him another avenue to generate offense. He showed good feel as a playmaker, finding teammates for scoring opportunities of their own. Moving forward, I would like to see him add another gear to his attack and become a little quicker getting downhill.

Gizzi impressed with has finishing ability around the bucket. He was able to score in transition and while playing in the half-court. He has a nice layup package. Gizzi had a team high 15 points in the loss. He did a nice job seeking out contact when navigating downhill. Gizzi connected on most of his chances at the foul line. I want to see Gizzi look to get shots off from behind the arc more often, off of today’s performance he could give off vibes that he is somewhat of a reluctant shooter.

He is able to turn defense to offense and converts it to scoring opportunities for his team. Gizzi can find others for scoring chances and has no issue stopping on the dime to change directions. He moves without the ball and is able to hunt for his own shot. Gizzi could get his shot release a tad quicker but it is still very clean when it comes off his hands. He can score the basketball from deep. He is a tad right hand dominant when he is finishing around the cup.
