La Roche Shootout Momentum Shifters

Miller brings positive energy to the floor and finds different ways to impact the game. He does a nice job running the floor in transition and attacking closeouts in the half-court. Miller also shows activity defensively, coming up with steals that lead to offensive opportunities, while doing a nice job securing rebounds. Moving forward, he needs to improve his ability to wall up and hold his ground on the interior. Miller could benefit from a post-graduate year to continue developing his overall game and physicality.     Gizzi found different ways to keep his team in the game, showing an ability to impact the action on both ends. He did a nice job attacking the basket, drawing fouls, and earning trips to the foul line. Gizzi also connected on several three-pointers, giving him another avenue to generate offense. He showed good feel as a playmaker, finding teammates for scoring opportunities of their own. Moving forward, I would like to see him add another gear to his attack and become a little quicker getting downhill.     Forst appears to have taken a noticeable jump as a player and showed the ability to impact the game in multiple ways offensively. He found different ways to score, whether attacking the basket or operating out of the post. Forst also positioned himself well defensively, using his size and length to block shots and secure rebounds. He takes up space underneath and gives his team a physical presence in the frontcourt. Forst should garner traction from regional small-college programs and could be an intriguing option for a prep program in need of post-grad frontcourt depth.     Siegel is a strong downhill attacker who thrives when getting downhill and putting pressure on the defense. He does a nice job pushing the ball up the floor and can get to spots in the mid-range when defenders cut off his initial attack. Siegel has the versatility to play between multiple positions and shows the tools to handle different responsibilities. Also feel that he only plays at one gear and if he learned how to play at multiple gears it would help his game evolve. Moving forward, I would like to see him continue transitioning into more of a primary ball-handler role and take on greater responsibility with the basketball.     Straughters does a little bit of everything for Pine-Richland and consistently finds ways to impact the game. He is relentless on the attack and frequently gets into the paint, where he puts pressure on the defense and draws fouls. Straughters also showed the ability to knock down shots from three, giving him another way to generate offense. He consistently found himself in good spots to secure rebounds and contribute on the glass, showcasing his activity and versatility.
