Gabe has a great understanding of possessions which makes him a valuable player.

Gabe is working his way into contention as one of my top prospects that I have been watching since his sophomore season with Barbers Hill. Even as a 10^th grader, I could sense that he had the skillset to take his game to the next level in the future and he has done that over the last 2 years with both his offense and defensive capabilities. He can spot up from the perimeter with smooth mechanics on his long range jumper or punishing smaller defenders under the basket. Childress is effective off the pick and roll and knows how to pick his spots well off the ball.
