As a senior, Moore is stepping into a significant role, not only as a scorer but also as a communicator with his teammates. In a hard-fought game, he managed to score 15 points, demonstrating his determination throughout the game.     [player_tooltip player_id='3729419' first='Christian' last='Alfred'] is a forward for Empowering Others Prep that showcased his skills in a recent victory against Dekaney High School. He managed to secure 10 points in the game. Christian played to his strengths, consistently performing well around the paint. His ability to draw fouls when attempting to score from the basket was a key factor in his success. Furthermore, he demonstrated his rebounding prowess by frequently crashing the glass on both ends of the court.     In a recent game against Morton Ranch, [player_tooltip player_id='2555072' first='Gabe' last='Childress'] emerged as the leading scorer for Barbers Hill, amassing an impressive 18 points. His performance was characterized by significant contributions around the paint, where he consistently rebounded, engaged in physical play, and executed impactful actions on both ends of the court. Throughout my time watching Gabe throughout all these years, he is a player that doesn't necessarily need the ball to make an impact on the floor. Gabe has a great understanding of possessions which makes him a valuable player.     [player_tooltip player_id='3767728' first='Champ' last='Perry'] is a versatile guard for Barbers Hill High School who excels at handling the ball. His agility allows him to create plays for his teammates while simultaneously seeking scoring opportunities. When driving to the basket, his explosive speed enables him to generate separation from defenders. Throughout my evaluation Champ played like an upperclassman well beyond his years as a sophomore. I will be looking forward to seeing where his development goes in the next few years.     [player_tooltip player_id='3675247' first='Casey' last='Small'] was a standout player from Morton Ranch that led his team to a 27-point victory against Barbers Hill at the Doug's Dozen event. Remarkably, 19 of his 27 points were scored in the second half alone. Despite an early deficit, Morton Ranch managed to pull ahead with Small's resilience shining through as he sank five three-pointers in the second half, effectively turning the tide of the game. Small will be a key player for Morton Ranch this year, as he is a confident scorer that is capable of big scoring games.
