The Red Devils had aspirations of a state championship this season and the addition of Ethan was a big reason why. Unfortunately, they fell short of those goals, but it was still an excellent “last ride” for Moses. He put up 11.1 points per game, fitting in well to a co-star role after being the main guy at his previous school. Ethan is a solid jump shooter, both from three and in the mid-range, but he also has some bounce to finish at the rim. Moses was offered by local D2 Southern Wesleyan University during his senior season.

The Phenom Summer Havoc Live was my first look at Ethan in an Upward Stars Columbia jersey, and he didn’t disappoint. His perimeter shooting ability has allowed him to fit right in with their high-powered offense. Moses doesn’t need a lot of the ball in his hands, but when his team went multiple possessions without a score, he was often the guy they turned to. Ethan has deep range but also likes the corners, providing lots of space for his teammates to work. He finished with 15 points on 4-10 3FG in the opener.

. Ethan opened up the Game One win over Chapman hot, putting up all 11 points in quick succession before earning an early rest. He knocked down a right-corner three, a left-corner three, a mid-range jumper, and another left-corner three, all getting set up by some nice Guard play from his fellow Red Devils. Moses adds much needed spacing to this offense and is a guy you can’t leave open on the perimeter. However, if you over-close he is an athletic finisher at the rim and a capable passer.
