Expert Analysis
Kyle Sandy | Prep Hoops Scout
Carter can play either forward position. He’s a bouncy athlete that can dominate games when stuck on the block, quick to snag rebounds and an effortless dunker. When on the wing, Carter has shown the ability to create off the dribble as a slasher but also can hurt defenses with his three-point shot. He has defensive upside, capable of guarding on the perimeter and in the post, a steady shot blocker. I’ve had him pegged as a future D-I guy for a while now.

Ethan Carter showcased his potential on Saturday in a game against Cali Stars. Despite playing in an older age division, Carter more than held his own with graceful athleticism and length. Ethan is a good ball handler who can create his own shot on the perimeter, get to the basket, and create for others. He also good speed and agility that allows him to play well in transition.

Ethan Carter is a 6’8 forward out of Arlington Christian with crazy above-the-rim capabilities. Carter’s athleticism is a rare gift. He’s constant threat to swoop in for a putback dunk or catch a lob and throw it down. Carter blocks a ton of shots in transition and probably isn’t the guy you want to meet you at the rim. Still very raw, Carter will become better and better as his offensive game adds polish.

Ethan Carter is a high-flying forward who’s athleticism was on full display Saturday. When talking about guys that play above the rim, few in the 2025 class do so like Ethan Carter. He provided a consistent lob threat throughout the day, finishing several alley-oops above the rim. He’s also got great timing as a shot contester and was able to get his fingertips on a lot of layups. Carter should have alot of success this year at Arlington as he fits nicely with
