Ethan made a variety of plays in a strong weekend for BSB. Defensively he moves his feet well on the ball, and is a good shot blocker as a guard. Whether it was sticking with his man to the hoop and elevating at the right time, or utilizing his off-ball positioning to slide in and make a play at the rim, he was blocking a a handful of shots in the two games I watched. On the offensive end he has a dangerous pull-up jumper off of limited dribbles, and he was knocking them down from both mid-range and three. When he wasn’t knocking down jumpers, he did a great job of feeding his bigs in the post with accurate post-entry passes, and also made smart reads in the open floor. 2024 guard that can make plays both as a scorer and facilitator.

impressed in a big win for BSB. It started on the defensive end where he not only did a good job of pressuring the ball, but forced a few turnovers and blocked some shots in the process. In the first two minutes of the game he swatted a shot off the floor and also cut his man off before ripping the ball from him for a steal. On the other end he was making the simple kick out passes to hit his open shooters right in the hands, and also did a nice job of exploding through gaps to get to the rim and finish. Showcased a smooth release from three as well. Good start to the weekend for the St. Paul Academy point guard.

is a six-foot-two-inch 2024 point guard from St. Paul Academy. In June I had a chance to see Carter play a game, and although he was jumping out of the box score with production, he did leave me thinking he had something to his game. Four months later here at the expo event Carter managed to show out more than enough with his opportunities. He scored 10 points at the rim on lay-ups in the first half and also handled the ball with his head up with strong consistency. Carter finished the game with 6 made baskets and 3 assists. The passing caught my eye the most hitting teammates in tight windows like he was an NFL signal caller making the throws.
