Resurrection Christian | 2026 StateCO
was the heart and soul of the Resurrection Christian Cougars during his senior season, operating as a high engine that powered their deep postseason run. Koenig was a statistical juggernaut in the 3A Patriot League, averaging 18.3 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 4.2 APG, and 1.7 SPG. A true three-level threat, Koenig was a certified problem for defenses, highlighted by a season-high 26-point performance in the state tournament. Whether he was knocking down clutch free throws or using his elite vision to facilitate for teammates, Koenig controlled the tempo with a composure that scouts have long admired.
Koenig has stepped into a Resurrection Christian team that lost a lot of seniors and immediately became the leader they needed, a big reason his team is sitting at an impressive 8–2. His production tells the story with 19.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists but it’s the way he controls the game that really stands out. He’s a confident shooter who can knock down the three, keeps the ball on a string and plays with great vision that puts teammates in scoring positions. Koenig has a natural feel for getting open, whether it’s relocating off the ball or creating space with his handle. He plays with poise, makes winning decisions and sets the tone on every possession, making his rise in the rankings well deserved
Koenig has been outstanding to start the season for Resurrection Christian, emerging as the engine that drives everything they do. Averaging 21.8 points per game, he’s scoring efficiently while setting the tone with constant pressure on both ends of the floor. His ability to generate steals and instantly turn defense into offense fuels their transition game, where he thrives running the floor. Beyond the numbers Koenig’s pace, toughness and unselfish table setting have elevated teammates and made him a matchup problem every night
Koenig looks ready to play a huge role in Resurrection Christian’s offense, and there’s plenty to be excited about heading into the season. He can flat out score and when he gets in rhythm shots start falling from everywhere. His three point ability and deep range stretch defenses way out, opening up the floor for everyone else. Koenig also moves well without the ball and runs the floor hard, giving his team easy scoring opportunities in transition. When he spots up defenders have to stay glued to him, and when he pushes the pace, he becomes an instant threat. If he stays aggressive and keeps shooting with confidence, Koenig could emerge as one of the most dangerous perimeter shooters this year
Through Resurrection Christian’s perfect 9-0 start to the season, Koenig has been excellent as a floor spacer and secondary playmaker for this group. Up at 38% from distance, he is comfortable rising up off the catch or while flowing into the shot following an off-ball action. At his best within the offensive flow, he is quick reading opposing defenses in both primary and secondary actions, dependable at reading the incoming rotations.
