Diepersloot really impressed with our watch back of the showcase and only strengthened our belief that he belongs higher in the rankings. He was arguably the best big in the gym, dominating on both ends with a combination of power, skill and physicality that was impossible to ignore. He controlled the glass, scored consistently and showed excellent footwork and positioning around the basket. More than anything his force and presence changed the game every time he was involved. This was a statement performance from a player trending firmly upward. We are excited to see how that momentum carries into his season and just how much higher his stock can climb

Diepersloot was sooooo good on rewatch, and a lot of that went under the radar while I was in the gym. He has so much size, and it’s impossible to miss him out there, but the efficiency with which he played with and the ability to finish through contact stood out. I don’t think he missed more than twice on the day, and his activity had him in the right spots on the block a ton. He did a good job, actually using that size rather than just being the biggest guy on the floor. He controlled rebounds, established deep position, and showed touch on over-the-shoulder hooks. Around the rim, Diepersloot finished with either hand and used his physicality to go through defenders when necessary. What helped his stock was the mobility and activity that came with it. He ran the floor, set meaningful screens, and competed on both ends. There was a lot more than just size to like about his performance, and this was a stock-boosting event for him. I really liked his play. 

Diepersloot may have only seen flashes of varsity action as a freshman at Resurrection Christian, but the early AAU season has made it clear his trajectory is pointing way up. At 6’7”, he already brings the size and toughness coaches look for in a true interior presence. He controls the paint, rebounds at a high level and does the dirty work that impacts winning. What’s making him even more intriguing is the growth offensively. His footwork, touch around the rim and confidence scoring with his back to the basket continue to improve. As his game keeps expanding and the pace slows down for him, Diepersloot has the tools to become a major breakout name next season

Diepersloot made his impact felt with effort, awareness and a relentless approach on both ends of the floor. Offensively he worked hard to get open, constantly moving without the ball and presenting a target with his hands ready. When the opportunity came, he finished plays efficiently around the rim, showing control and confidence. Defensively he was outstanding staying engaged, contesting everything and making life difficult for whoever he guarded. His discipline and energy stood out, as he consistently did the little things that help teams win. Diepersloot’s two way presence and high motor made him a valuable contributor throughout the entire tournament

Cade Diepersloot Cade Diepersloot 6'8" | PF Resurrection Christian | 2029 State CO was a valuable contributor to Nico Elite 15U’s efforts to dominate offensive glass. Through his multiple contributions, he effectively converted second-chance points and helped reset his team’s offense. Cade’s play provided a significant boost of momentum during the game against the Lubbock Panthers 2029 15U. His impressive 6’7 frame was instrumental in defending the rim and preventing opposing players from scoring in the paint.

Diepersloot hasn’t played a ton to begin the season, but from what we saw from him this summer, he’s a player whose presence will have Resurrection Christian as a very dangerous team for the second half of the season. At 6’7, he alters shots, rebounds in traffic, and uses his length to disrupt actions defensively. He has a motor and provides physicality, and those traits translate, regardless of role. Once he’s fully back, he defensive presence and length will make him one of the highest-upside prospects that is debuting in the rankings. He makes the rankings this go round, but we expect him to rise by the next update. 

Cade is going to have himself quite the HS career at Resurrection Christian. I can just see it and this was my first viewing of him. He was one of the most intriguing prospects on the day as he’s a 6’7 prospect with range. He was hunting shots, shooting over defenders and an aggressive scorer despite being one of the younger players at the event. He moves well, runs the floor and was a spacer that the defense had to know where he was. He used his length to grab plenty of boards, he was a big big that backed guys down and he finished well around the rim. I will be on Cade watch as we want to see more of him and hope he gets out to a few of our events as well to get a full gauge of him. Don’t know how many people know about him so I’ll buy stock early.
