Possibly the best Junior in Northern Kentucky, Topmiller is coming off a season where he averaged 21 points per game with impressive splits of 50/41/78. Capable of playing on or off the ball, Dylan was splitting time between basketball and baseball in the spring but should be a full time hooper in July and could start seeing college interest coming his way very soon.
Dylan put together a highlight-reel performance, showcasing his athleticism with several dunks in both transition and half-court situations, finishing with authority off one and two feet. He also shot the ball extremely well from beyond the arc, knocking down difficult shots while displaying the ability to create his own offense or move effectively without the ball to find open catch-and-shoot opportunities. Beyond his scoring, Dylan looked comfortable handling the ball and showed strong court awareness, consistently making the right reads and finding open teammates.
A fun new name to add to northern Kentucky’s 2028 database, Topmiller is a talented wing guard who took a DHO and threw down a big time dunk off a great set by his team. With good positional size and the athleticism to play above the rim, Topmiller found success when he was able to find clear driving lanes to get to the rim. A talented natural scorer, Topmiller took and made some tough shots. After a strong sophomore campaign for Beechwood, Topmiller’s best game might’ve come in a win over Highlands where he scored 31 points on just 11 shots. Expect Topmiller to have a lot of college interest next summer when small college programs focus on 2028 prospects.
Topmiller was one of the highest scoring Sophomores in Kentucky this past season. Playing with Moss Elite
, Dylan is relied upon to do what he does best and put the ball in the hole. I’ve not gotten to see him play live yet but I hope to get eyes on Dylan this weekend.
In his first tournament, Dylan averaged 20.1 points, helping Moss Elite
find early success, highlighted by a 27-point performance that included five made three-pointers, while also earning 16U Indy Showcase First Team honors. He elevated his play even further in his second tournament, averaging 21.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and three steals per game while shooting 48% from the field and 42% from three, leading Moss Elite
to a 4-0 record.

shows natural scoring ability and consistently finds ways to put the ball in the basket. He’s a major threat from beyond the arc, capable of stepping well behind the line and knocking down shots, while also using his handle to create space for his own looks. In addition to his perimeter shooting, he brings athleticism, showing he can rise up and finish with dunks when attacking the rim. He moves well without the ball, whether pushing in transition or making timely cuts in half-court sets, and he uses screens effectively to create separation and stay a scoring option. Topmiller is also comfortable hitting tough, off-balance shots.

burst onto the scene this season, earning NKBBCA Division II All-Conference honors and finishing as runner-up for Player of the Year. He was also named to the 9th Region All “A” Classic All-Tournament team. Topmiller set a school record with 89 three-pointers in a season and had four games of 30 or more points. He averaged 20.7 points per game while shooting 50.3% from the field, 41.4% from three-point range, and 78.3% from the free throw line, also adding 3.8 rebounds per game.

ranks among the top 30 shooters in the state, averaging exactly three three-pointers per game while shooting 41.4% (91-for-220) from deep. On Feb. 12 against Newport Central Catholic, Topmiller made eight threes, tying for the second-most in a game in school history. He also set the school record for most threes in a single season. Dylan can create his own shot or knock down threes off the catch, making him a versatile threat from long range.
