Scored a team-high 20 points and did a nice job breaking the game down, scoring effectively in one-on-one matchups. I liked how he used his spin move when navigating to different spots off the bounce, allowing him to create space and get to his spots. He also found different ways to rebound the basketball and played with an immense level of physicality throughout the game. He made a living at the foul line and converted his chances once he got there. While he knocked down one three-pointer, he still appears a bit reluctant from beyond the arc. If he becomes more of a consistent threat from three, it could lead to a noticeable uptick in his recruitment. Defensively, he showed good timing when blocking shots and did a nice job finding teammates in tough spots on the floor with his passing. Stohon should see traction at the low-major division I and high division II levels in the coming months of the grassroots season.

Stohon plays with an immense deal of versatility and is budding hybrid forward. He does a nice job playing with the ball in his hands. I like the way Stohon never gets sped up and has complete control whenever he is on the attack. He took advantages of mismatches and has a nice set of moves on the block. Stohon also showed he could space the floor but I would like to see him become more of a threat from there, he only attempted one three from there. He has great timing to gather steals and came up with several throughout the game. Stohon finished with 23 points and 12 of which coming in the 4th quarter.

blends a smooth catch-and-shoot perimeter stroke with polished footwork on the block, letting him score inside-out and punish switches. His perimeter shot and face-up game are both above average. Defensively, Stohon is a true rim deterrent. Stohon profiles as one of Central PA’s most intriguing 2027 forwards.

Dylan Stohon’s blend of inside‑outside scoring and rim protection has made him one of the most intriguing 2027 forwards on the Prep Network scouting board this spring. The 6’5″ Forest Hills sophomore followed a 26‑point district‑playoff explosion that carried the Rangers to the state quarterfinals by stepping onto the AAU circuit stage with Wildcat Select and producing immediately. Stohon’s calling card is a smooth perimeter stroke, both off the catch and while pulling up mid-range. Opponents that switch smaller guards onto him quickly discover his developing post game. He flashes soft touch, uses polished footwork to create angles, and scores through contact. That offensive versatility is matched by impact on the other end, where his timing and length make him a high‑level rim protector. We like the “little things” he does, including screening with purpose, sprinting the floor, talking on defense.

You can’t discount the production that Stohon brings to the table. There might be other more highly ranked prospects on this Wildcats Select 3SSB 16u team, but for the second straight game it was Stohon that shined in the box score. The versatile 6’5″ forward finished with 23 points to start the day with a victory.

In the final five minutes of the game with the result hanging in the air, Stohon scored 11 points to shut the door on the opponent and secure a win. In that closing stretch he did what he did all game, caught passes and scored at the rim using patience, touch and feel. Add in a corner 3-pointer to take the lead that started the run and Stohon made his impact as an inside-outside presence. One of the more intriguing forwards from central PA in the class of 2027.
