Chipped in 16 points and knocked down three three-pointers while also showing the ability to score with his in-between game, getting to different spots off the bounce. He was effective both on and off the ball and did a nice job finding teammates for scoring opportunities at a high rate. He also found ways to impact the game defensively, coming up with rebounds and steals.

McGough is an electric point guard who jumps off the page with his play. He had a huge first half scoring 27 of his game high 32 in the first half. McGough spaced the floor with five threes. He was really in his bag. I like how he maestros the game and is playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers. He had a fair share of assists and puts the ball in all the right spots. He has a strong frame that he uses to bully smaller opponents. He would be a great pickup for a prep program looking for a post-grad guard.
