, Tx, Competed and found ways to affect the game without controlling the ball. He used his length as a weak-side defender, rotated toward the rim and challenged shots. That matters because size means little when a player arrives late or avoids contact. Howard’s offensive skill is developing, but his defensive awareness gives him something that can translate now. The next step is producing with that same purpose for longer stretches.

is a long wing who knows where his shots are coming from. He can knock it down off the catch and is comfortable creating off the bounce. What stands out is that Howard does not hunt bad shots just to get his numbers. He finds space, attacks openings, and lets the game come to him. Add his size, improved strength, shooting touch, and motor, and you have a wing who impacts the game in several ways.

fits the modern 3-and-D mold at 6-foot-8, spacing the floor with smooth catch-and-shoot mechanics while using length to contest on the perimeter and rotate as a weak-side helper. He can protect the rim in short stretches, wall off drives with his frame, and punish rotations when defenses sag off him. Face-up touches, mid-post counters, and two-foot finishes give him offense beyond spot-up threes without needing the ball glued to his hands. Continuing to add strength and sharpen on-ball containment against quicker wings will expand his switchability. Howard’s combination of size, shooting stroke, and defensive versatility makes him a plug-and-play floor spacer for college staffs valuing two-way wings.

looks the part at 6’8″. He protects the rim, changes shots with his length and timing. He is a clean interior defender. His jump shot is smooth. Don’t hesitate to let it fly. That shot changes his ceiling. Size like this is hard to find. A forward who blocks shots and stretches the floor will always have coaches paying attention. Howard has the tools to be one of the biggest stock risers in the 2027 class.

Versatile small forward who is long enough to defend up a position, mobile enough to shut down wings on the perimeter, and skilled enough to put up points when needed. A reliable catch-and-shoot threat from deep, a strong mid-post-game with face-up and turnaround counters, and the ability to attack off the bounce using size, playing off two-feet, and touch. Good triple threat footwork against closeouts utilizing pivots in either direction, high or low rips, along with convincing pump fakes that got defenders to bite. He’s a plug and play type of player due to his switchable abilities on defense, using his lateral mobility, and length to wall off drives, contest shots at the arc, and battle on the glass. He even anticipates well in help, rotating on time, giving him the ability to anchor the defense.
