His explosive first step and athleticism allow him to score above the rim, while his improved midrange and perimeter shooting have added real balance to his attack. His three-point shot is now a legitimate threat, making his shot fakes far more effective and opening up driving lanes for himself and others. His decision-making has also improved, as he moves the ball when needed and relocates to create space. Jerrells’ growth is right on schedule and should be a major factor as the Hawks make a strong district push.

Jerrells is a dynamic athlete with excellent body control and a strong frame. He made an immediate impression with his defensive anticipation and open-court athleticism, showcasing two highlight-reel dunks within minutes of stepping on the floor. What’s more impressive, however, is his versatility. He runs the floor, rebounds at a high rate, and consistently contests shots. His midrange game is reliable, and while his perimeter shooting still needs polish, the foundation is there. Jerrells is tracking as a high-upside two-way wing.
