Spalding is the definition of an inside-and-out player. He has really good size and strength that allows him to be effective against bigs and banging in the post but the athleticism and skills to do damage from the wing. He has an incredibly smooth stroke that he knocked down all day. He has a very good IQ as well. He always knew where to be defensively and then who to distribute it to. He was a good rebounder and I loved his ability to take it coast to coast.

Spalding is a guy who first got on my radar playing with Midwest Basketball Club Brooks this spring. With a good body and the motor to really impact the game with his rebounding and interior scoring at his size, I was curious to see how he’d look with Hilliard Bradley. The Jags are projected to be one of the top teams in central Ohio and Spalding found ways to help out his team in June when I caught Bradley that month. With a strong July as well, Spalding has now racked up five Division III offers from regional programs.
