Lee almost carried his Detroit Catholic Central team back in the 4th quarter. If my notes are correct, he hit 4 triples in the 4th quarter to carry the comeback attempt. It didn’t matter where he shot from or what the scenario, they were all no doubters. Three of them were well beyond the arc and they came both off the bounce and off the catch. Early in the game, it was a bit of a different attack for Lee. He showed that he could get at the rim with a physocal straight line drive.

Lee is in terrific shape and has added a ton of strength and muscle. I think he’s improved as an overall athlete as well. Lee honestly just looks like a next level player, both in skills and stature. When I saw him this fall, his mid range game looked elite. DCC will surprise people this year and Lee will be a huge part of that.

Lee has more of a reputation for his offense, but hear me out. Coach Jackson is a terrific defensive coach and Lee has all the intangibles. His powerful base and smooth movement are a rare find in a guard. Lee can use that to alter a ball handlers path as well as beat them to their spot and force the ball out of their hands.

Lee has the chance to be an absolute force this season for the Shamrocks. He has a next level frame with a very powerful base. Mark my words, Lee has a chance to have one of the best mid range games in the state next season. He rises up on the jumper and it just has so much touch straight from the release.

DCC took a trip to Toledo for a much anticipated matchup with Toledo St. John Jesuit. They came away with a very impressive victory. Devin Lee Devin Lee 6'3" | SG Detroit Catholic Central | 2025 State MI was an incredibly bright spot for the Shamrocks. He keeps getting better and better as the season rolls along. Lee has been a dependable scoring threat and was again in this game, finishing with 19 points. The best part was, 2 of those 19 came from a contested game winner from the baseline.

Devin Lee Devin Lee 6'3" | SG Detroit Catholic Central | 2025 State MI has grabbed everybody’s attention. It was a big win on a big stage for Detroit Catholic Central and Lee helped lead the charge. DCC was hot on the night and Lee scorched the nets for a game high 29 points. The offense really hummed throughout the game and Lee’s athletic shooting was a big part of that.
