Deshawn Gory Deshawn Gory 6'8" | SF Red Rock Academy | 2024 NV has excellent athleticism and is a confident scorer at all three levels of the court. Gory has a good handle and sees the court well which allows him to create his own shot and set up his teammates. Deshawn’s quickness and agility are key assets, making him a tough cover for defenders. Additionally, he is a strong defender both on-ball and off, thanks to his long arms and quickness.

Deshawn Gory Deshawn Gory 6'8" | SF Red Rock Academy | 2024 NV has all the tools to compete at a high level in college. The wing possesses tremendous length and quickness which helps him have diverse offensive and defensive games which should both grow exponentially as he gets older and puts on weight/strength. Gory also has elite athleticism to pair with his other physical tools and uses it to help out on the glass at both ends. I think he could benefit from raising his release point on his shot a bit as it currently takes a bit long for him to bring the ball up from his chest.

A smooth operator. The 6’6″ transfer from Hillcrest continues his ascent in the rankings with another solid showing in the books. Gory displayed feathery finishing ability sidestepping defenders on his way to the rim and also shot making ability from the perimeter. He has a good change of direction and does a great job with the pull up off the hard right dribble en route to his mid range jumper. Gory is joining some good talent on this Oak Hills squad and looks to keep increasing his stock as the season continues.
