Lindsey was one of the biggest breakout stars of the year in Georgia, averaging 22.6 PPG and earning Region Player of the Year honors in one of the state’s most loaded regions. Lindsey is a lethal shooter and can get his shot off in a split second. He shot 39% from three this year on over 200 attempts. What Lindsey lacks in size, he makes up for with speed, quickness, and some sneaky bounce.

Deuce Lindsey may have been the biggest stock riser from Saturday’s event. Lindsey carried Mays to a 16-point win over #22 Cedar Grove. He finished the game with 26 points (8 3PM) and it would have been 29 if not for an officiating error on his 3rd quarter buzzer-beater. In addition to the scoring outburst, Lindsey tallied 10 assists to make it a double-double. While some college coaches may have questions about his size, Lindsey’s quick release and footwork on the three-point line will certainly help his game translate to the next level while his sneaky bounce helps make up for the lack of height too.

It’s a very clean slate at Mays, Deuce Lindsey returning as one of the only contributors from last year’s squad but he’s embraced the heavy workload this summer. Lindsey’s breakout game came on Sunday, going for 31 of his team’s 50 points in a win over Heritage-Conyers. Lindsey has one of the purest jump shots around but there’s much more to his scoring package beyond his outside shooting. Lindsey can score at all three levels, operates well in the pick and roll, and has shown intriguing flashes as a playmaker too. He’s a bit bouncier than most give him credit for too. He’ll definitely be a guy to watch at the OTR live periods in July.
