Deandre Higgs Deandre Higgs 6'3" | SF Thornton | 2028 State IL played with a high motor, pushing the pace for the duration of the game and keeping the defense on their heels. He was comfortable driving to the rim through traffic and creating gaps on the floor. Higgs showed more offensive upside from well beyond the arc, burying deep threes. Higgs was also involved in the paint, going up for second-chance rebounds. Overall, Higgs looks like a player who excels in the frontcourt and uses his motor to create space.

Uses length effectively to challenge in the paint or around the perimeter. Can score it from 3 levels. Had him down for 2 trey balls in the first half. Kept team in it at the end of the game diving on the floor for a loose ball to retain possession. Hit a big baseline mid range jumper with 12 seconds to go to get team within 3. Has a mature size already for class to go along with an arsenal of skill.

Higgs is a built like a middle linebacker.  He is a broad shouldered small forward that brings a ton of physicality to the table on both ends of the floor.  Defensively he has all the tools to be a monster wing defender with his strength, athleticism, and quickness.  Offensively he flashes as a shooter, but is at his best getting on the glass for second chance points along with slashing.  Potential as a passer as well.
