Good stretch in the second quarter where Hines embraced his height and athleticism by attempting to take over the paint. Run the floor hard, often beating guards back to get transition points. Also worked harder to try to get position on the block. Has good overall skillset, next step to his evolution will be trying to dunk everything around the rim. Represents the ability to unlock the ceiling for a Lions squad that is filled with big time guard play.

Up and down game for Hines. Had a stretch where he put his height advantage to work with good post ups, rolls and other finishing around the basket. But also had stretches where he settled for jumpers, which weren’t falling on the night. Continuing to more consistently play to his size on both ends of the court will be crucial for Hines. As he has all the potential to change games around the rim in Oklahoma.
