Sam Duren | Prep Hoops Scout
Rogers was another freshman who earned notable early run at the Class 6A level. In this case, it’s because he has early signs of having a burner from deep. Must be accounted for even a few steps beyond the three point line. This was especially true when he nuked Norman North for 24 points, including five three pointers. Including an open three that was nearly from the volleyball line. Right now it’s often via spot up opportunities but has a good future as an all around scorer.

Rogers is a disruptive defender, who was very successful as a gambler. As there were multiple times he pick pocketed opposing ball handlers. Along with his defensive energy, he’s a standout on the offensive end. Knifing through defenders with a tight handle. Or stopping in the mid-range, even hitting an one legged turnaround jumper. Appears to be an extremely skilled player, with a competitive and winning mentality.

Jeremiah Rogers‘ impact extended far beyond the box score. A quintessential glue guy, he was a high-motor, two-way guard who brought a competitive edge and elevated his team on both ends. His athleticism, versatility, and team-first mindset gave the backcourt an explosive boost. He consistently brought energy, defended multiple positions, and made winning plays that don’t always show up in stats.
