DaJuan is one of Jtown’s best kept secrets. He can score, he can handle the ball, he can facilitate… all the attributes needed for a varsity-level guard. He mainly operated as a catch-and-shoot threat for the Chargers last season and did so at a high clip (40% 3fg). While his shooting will surely come in handy next season, his squad’s success will be heavily reliant on his ability to get it done in a variety of ways on the offensive side of the ball. DaJuan has the goods necessary for a breakout season come December.

Tharpe was a very solid prospect who shined in catch and shoot situations on Sunday. Jeffersontown is a very deep team but DaJuan could earn some playing time this year with his ability to provide consistent three point shooting. Long term, Tharpe is a couple more inches away from being a top shooting guard/combo guard in the Sophomore class, thanks to his skill set.
