Expert Analysis
Rob Howe | Prep Hoops Scout
Webb led all scorers with 20 points in this game. He did so as a three-level threat. The senior has developed his game through his prep career and become a dangerous player on both ends of the court. His length and versatility often contribute to him taking advantage of mismatches, allowing him to pull taller defenders away from the hoop and post up smaller ones.

Webb is an intriguing prospect who continues to get better and more assertive on the offensive end. He’s a good athlete with outstanding length on the perimeter, pairing a 6-7 frame and long wingspan with a pure stroke from the arc. He has always had a solid skillset, but he’s putting everything together now and smaller schools around the state and the area are taking notice. He provides versatility on the defensive end and should be a good 3-and-D wing at the next level.

Probably the most intriguing prospect on this team, Webb is armed with great size and length at 6-6/6-7, and as he continues to develop and put everything together, his potential is sky high. He moves his feet well on the defensive end and has the size and length to defend multiple positions. Offensively, he has a really smooth stroke off the catch and the ability to get his shot off pretty much whenever he wants to. He can be a bit passive at times, but when he’s locked in and wants to attack, he can take over games on both ends of the floor. The talent and frame are there, it’s now about putting it all together, and putting it all together with consistently strong effort.

Another well rounded player who excels on offense for this group. Can score it in a number of ways while also being relentless on the boards. Does a good job of turning nothing into something when his team needs it the most. Spreads the floor well and understands spacing better than most. A player who can go get you a bucket when the game is on the line for your squad. A special talent in the program.

Webb is a presence in the paint for Liberty on both ends of the floor. He pulled down a team-best eight rebounds in this game and did a nice job defending Mbingazo when given the assignment. He handles it well for a bigger guy and shows good athleticism. He has a nice mid-range game on offense.

A big wing who is filled with potential, Webb had a solid spring and summer with the Iowa Mavericks. He has gained confidence, shooting it well and moving without the ball to find open spaces in the defense. With his size (6-6/6-7), length, and shooting, he’ll be someone to keep an eye on over the next 12 months to see how he continues to progress.
