Hardin has good size as a wing/guard and is a good athlete. His older brother ended up a 6’6″ post player but Colton is already showcasing more perimeter skills than his brother had. With a ton of potential and likely more growing to do, Hardin needs to be on the radar as a breakout player in the 8th region.

Although it’s early to say for sure, Colton could have legit upside as a scholarship player at the collegiate level in the future. He has good size for his age and position in addition to an advanced feel for the game. He’s light on his feet and decisive with the ball in his hands. He attacked the rim with a purpose at the Kentucky Freshman Showcase and used his size to overcome the opposition of smaller guards. He looked the most comfortable when driving baseline and finishing through traffic.
