Caught Gilvydis in team’s last game of weekend and was impressive on both sides of the ball. Intriguing prospect that could go the small forward or combo guard route. An aggressive wing that mixes in perimeter shooting or getting down hill. Found baseline openings to get to cup off the dribble. Had a couple smooth drop offs beneath after drawing help. Handles the ball under pressure. Will continue to build stock with a diverse skill set and toughness mentality.

Gilvydis has emerged as one of the top scorers in Indiana’s Class of 2028. He poured in 23 points, including 5-7 shooting from three-point range, in a 70-54 win at Hanover Central. The 6’2″ guard is having a really good season for the 6-5 Fighting 59ers.

Gilvydis had some monster games, especially when it comes to shooting the basketball, for Indiana Game 15u on the UA Rise Circuit this spring and summer. We had the opportunity to see some of those games in May when the circuit came to Hamilton, Ohio and he continued to be a consistent performer for them throughout the summer. The rising sophomore at Andrean High School had a big freshman season and should step into even a larger role this winter. He is another one that should break into our Class of 2028 prospect rankings as we continue to expand them with each update.

There is getting hot from three-point range and then there is what this freshman fro Anderan High School did on Sunday morning for Indiana Game – UA Rise 15u. The 6’1″ guard helped lift his team to a hard-fought 84-80 victory over Indiana Basketball Club by pouring in 24 points on incredible 8-10 three-point shooting. It was easily one of the best single-game shooting performances of the weekend. Gilvydis is one to watch in the Class of 2028.
