Brooks is another who is due for a bump and it could be a significant one as the 6-foot-2 lead guard could be considered one of the more underrated prospect in the public school landscape for MD/DC. Manning the keys for Walter Johnson alongside 2029

, Brooks is dynamic, shifty and crafty with the way he makes plays. He capped off his Capitol Hoops Summer League with averages of 16.1PPG, 6.4RPG and 3.3APG. I’d expect for both he and Williams to post eye-popping numbers this season while making the Wildcats a legitimate contender in the always tough Montgomery County field.

Read EvaluationColby Giacubeno | Prep Hoops Scout
Quietly one of the more productive underclassmen guard in Montgomery County, Brooks helped lead Walter Johnson to a 19-7 record while averaging over 14 points per game. Brooks also proved to be the guy who could step up in crunch time as he converted on a couple of game-winners as the buzzer sounded throughout his sophomore season. Debuting at No. 91, he’s the type of prospect that has room to improve this ranking significantly with time due to his intriguing positional size as a lead guard, control on the ball and the early signs of instincts having to do with pace and reads. Brooks also averaged 3.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.2 steals per contest in 2025-26.
