Kelly is a big time athlete in the front-court for Georgia Stars EYCL and used his size + mobility to have a real impact on the defensive end of the floor. Kelly’s ability to be a lob threat on the offensive end is very valuable to this team, giving them a real vertical spacer. Defensively, Kelly can switch onto more perimeter oriented players and slide his feet to stay in front at a pretty high level for his size along with being able to protect the rim and close possessions with his rebounding. Kelly has the ability to pop after ball screens and knock down jumpers from time to time. As that ability continues to improve, it will blend incredibly well with his all around athleticism and make him into a very complete prospect as we approach the live periods next month.
