His smooth, confident trigger from beyond the arc makes him a constant threat, and he doesn’t need much space to get his shot off. As a floor general, he does a great job of making the right reads out of ball screens, and delivering accurate passes that lead to easy scoring opportunities. He plays with excellent pace and composure, rarely forcing the action while keeping his teammates involved throughout the game. Martin just flat out makes a lot of winning plays. He plays with tremendous confidence and poise, never looking rushed with the ball in his hands. Beyond his scoring ability, he has the vision and feel to run an offense and make winning plays as a true point guard. Jamin drained three corner threes and netted a mid-range jumper against Carrollton, finishing with 11 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist in a 50-48 win. Aside from his trademark shot making, what stood out most to me was how patient Jamin was against the press. He kept his dribble alive and head up as he coolly navigated pressure. He surveyed the floor and used escape dribbles as he was unable to be sped up.
