Competing against talented size at all 5 positions for Mater Dei, Potter showed an ability to score at all 3 levels and physicality/athleticism to get to the rim and finish through contact. Cannon Potter Cannon Potter 6'7" | SF Orange Lutheran | 2023 State CA-S continued his very strong start to his senior campaign on Monday night. Potter started off quickly in this one hurting San Juan Hills early and often with a mix of threes and 1-dribble pull-ups that the defense had no answer for. Cannon exhibited his ability to both draw and finish through contact by getting to the line 6 times and making 5 of those opportunities. Potter finished with 22 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 3’s made.

Potter is an excellent athlete who uses his quickness and agility to blow by defenders but also possesses a great feel for the game and knows just when to utilize the space created by the fear of his first step. A dual threat scorer, Potter is as likely to dunk on you as he is to hit a jumper. Potter had 15 points Monday night in a blowout victory for Orange Lutheran.
