Cox showcased his remarkable scoring and playmaking ability in a matchup against Great Crossing. The entire offense runs through him. He connected multiple times from way beyond the 3-point arc, both off the dribble and catch. When the defense took away his shot he drove to the basket, finishing through contact and over defenders. His quick decision-making and high basketball IQ led to passes that resulted in multiple assists.

Cox is an extremely high IQ player that picked the Great Crossing defense a part at times finding open teammates along with knocking down tough shots. He did a great job handling the pressure of Godfrey which really opened the game up for everyone else. Although they didn’t get the win, he had an unbelievable final performance and will carry it over to the college level.

Spencer County played with a ton of confidence and had a 44-37 lead in the third quarter thanks to the belief Cox gave his team. The emotional leader of Spencer County, Cox and a frenzied student section had Rupp Arena believing in a potential gigantic upset. With the ability to shoot from 30 feet and in, Cox gave the Great Crossing defense fits with his pull-up ability. He also created a lot of open 3-point looks for his teammates with six assists and his teammates shot the ball with confidence from the outside. A player who fits the type of culture Casey Kaufman is building at Ohio Dominican, I expect Cox to have a great career in the GMAC.

Wing with great size and strength. Played very composed and was almost unstoppable when he got downhill and a full head of steam. His size and length allowed him to score at the rim but also his strength didn’t let him get bumped off drives. Has deep 3pt range with a quick trigger.

Erhardt’s running mate in the Spencer County backcourt, Camden is primarily a shooter. He makes threes at a high clip and will pull up from anywhere across half court. Cox and Erhadt will be tough to beat this season.

One of the better volume shooters in the state, Cox is a sniper with an ultra quick release. Camden is a bit of a specialist because he shoots more 3s than 2s at about a 2 to 1 ratio but he continues to improve as a playmaker with the ball in his hands.

Another really good shooter, Cox shot threes almost exclusively this season as he put up 226 shots from deep and only 91 twos. Shooting just shy of 40% from behind the arc. Analytics would tell Camden to keep firing but college coaches are likely to want to see more attacking off the dribble and getting downhill. Regardless, Camden should be on the radar for a lot of colleges.

Camden is a shooter who is in range at all times and is not bashful about pulling up from anywhere on the court. Shooting 43% from distance, Cox has had some of his biggest games against some of Kentucky’s best teams.

One of the best shooters in the class, Cox is primarily a three point specialist on a Spencer County team that puts up a lot of points. Camden shot just under 40% from deep last year and could get above that number this season. As he adds more midrange and one dribble pull ups to his arsenal, look for Cox to make a big impact this year.
