Bryson is now attending CE King High School for this upcoming Fall 2025 basketball season. He had a big year for the Summer Creek Bulldogs last year and proved himself to be a high-level prospect. He runs the floor efficiently, distributing and scoring in transition as well as being able to get a bucket in isolation whenever his team needs a quick set of points. Wheatfall draws fouls at a high rate and can use his skillset under the rim or on the perimeter. Bryson currently holds offers from Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Montana State, Massachusetts-Amherst, LSU, and TCU.

Bryson was a huge scoring option in Summer Creek’s Saturday morning game against Bellaire and ended the contest with 28 points and 10 rebounds, notching a huge double-double in the Bulldogs season opening game. Even through constant physical defense, Wheatfall showcased his playmaking ability and scoring prowess, driving to the rim against the defense and finishing with ease, even in the face of the defense. Bryson is easily one of the best 2025 guards in Houston, has improved his game throughout the summer into the year and only continues to solidify his case for one of the most dynamic players in Houston, if not in Texas for his class.

Wheatfall put the people on notice all spring long. Improved his isolation scoring ability showcasing the skill to create separation from his defender. His overall IQ has increased becoming more patient offensively. Every time I watch him, Wheatfall seems to get bigger. You can tell he is in the gym by his structure. Played so well that LSU offered him this spring. It’s all coming together for this one.
