Bryce is one of those guys who plays a little bigger than his size, as he’s always giving 100% effort on both ends. He’s a true grinder on the glass, fighting to get a hand on every missed shot. If there’s a loose ball in his area, you can bet Bryce is going to be on the floor trying to get his team possession. He’s one of those players who could go a whole game without scoring a point, but still make an impact with his rebounding, defensive versatility, and all-around energy.

Samuel is a tall and long forward who sets good screens and spaces the floor. He has a high release on his jumper allowing him to shoot over the top of the defense even when he is tightly guarded. Using smart positioning and great length, he becomes a dangerous rebounding threat; he corrals plenty of O boards and creates a ton of second chance looks. I like the hustle that Samuel displays too, he’s constantly moving and demonstrates wonderful awareness on both ends.

was the loudest person in the gym on Sunday, and that included the coaches and parents in attendance. When he was on the bench, Bryce was constantly cheering on his teammates as well as calling things out defensively for his team. When on the floor it was like having a coach right out there with the team. Any time his teammate made a good play Bryce was there to hype them up, and I think it helped energize his team particularly on the defensive end. At 6’2 he was typically smaller than his opponent, but he’s so scrappy defensively that it helped make up for it. Samuel was constantly fighting for position on the block, and always found a body to box out. Offensively he showed a solid game from mid-range, and hit an impressive turnaround jumper along the baseline.
