One of the most athletic wings in Northwest Ohio, Hicks has a great frame and explosive athleticism. Having a very productive season for Cardinal Stritch, Hicks had 19 points and 10 rebounds against Emmanuel Christian in a big conference win for his team. Hicks was also named to the initial All-BCSN team, honoring the top players in the Toledo area. Hicks has been recruited by regional Division III schools due to his athleticism and production. Worth a look for those looking to get stronger and more athletic at the wing forward position.

The goal of events like this is to allow players to get college opportunities and shortly after the conclusion of the event Hicks was offered a spot with Owens Community College. Hicks is an athletic wing who looks like a football prospect with his size and shoulders. Hicks showed more basketball skill than I’d previously seen from him with some mid-range jumpers and passes to open teammates. An impressive athlete, Hicks had a dunk from a standstill that had a ref stunned afterwards that a 6’3 wing could do that. If Hicks continues to work on his skill and feel he has the athleticism to be an impact player at the next level. I was very impressed with Hicks on Sunday and think more college offers will be coming his way soon.
