Player of the Year + Top PG: Jerry Easter II Jerry Easter II 6'5" | PG La Lumiere | 2025 #55 Nation IN – 2025 – 6’5 PG – Emmanuel Christian
Jerry Easter II Jerry Easter II 6'5" | PG La Lumiere | 2025 #55 Nation IN is one of the best players in Toledo, if not the best. He was scoring 40+ points along with close-to-triple-double numbers in multiple games last year. Then he had a great summer. Picked up many offers and then was invited to the Team USA tryouts. He played against the best competition in the country and was getting notice from NBA scouts. His athleticism is noticeably approving. Getting strong and bigger while also getting faster and bouncier. He adds this to his already tall body and long wingspan. No other way around it Easter is a special athlete. His skill set is next level as well. He is a very good finisher and you used to hope he would take a jumper against you, well guess what he has gotten very consistent at knocking that down. He has a great transition game and I have loved his ability to share the ball. He has other good players on his team as well so he will have to carry the whole load every game anymore.
Top Guard: Breon Hicks Breon Hicks 6'3" | SF Cardinal Stritch | 2023 State OH – 2023 – 6’3 G – Cardinal Stritch
I am a pretty big fan of this kid. You can’t teach athleticism and he has tons of it. He has an effortless bounce that allows him to jump out of the gym. He may not look strong but he is. He has a big wingspan and great height for a guard. I like what I saw and the energy he played with at the Toledo Top 64. If he puts effort and attention into his defensive game he could be one of the best defenders in the Toledo area. I think when he starts finding the angles to attack the rim not many in the TAAC are going to be able to meet him at his highest point.
Top Wing: Amani Dickerson Amani Dickerson 6'3" | SG Maumee Valley | 2024 State OH – 2023 – 6’4 W – Maumee Valley
Dickerson is a unique talent. He is a very lengthy player and uses it very well on both sides of the game. He plays very freely in Maumee Valley’s zone and this allows him to get in passing lanes and get steals. He also uses his length on the offensive end super well at getting to the basket. He kind of swims to the rim as he weaves in and out between defenders. He has great touch around the rim as well. Dickerson doesn’t have the most consistent jumper but his height and length allows him to always shoot it and when he starts hitting shots, watch out.
Top Forward/Center: Jamie Rivers Jr Jamie Rivers Jr 6'8" | C Emmanuel Christian | 2023 State OH – 2023 – 6’9 F – Emmanuel Christian
Rivers is going to be the biggest and strongest player in every game he plays in the TAAC. He is a huge presence and moves very well too. He will bully a lot of teams and make a huge difference because everyone will be so worried about Easter and Miles that Rivers are going to kill them on the boards on both ends of the floor. Rivers also has the unique ability to spread the floor with his passing. He has good touch and post moves around the rim. Rivers will be the unsung hero for the Warriors this year.
Top New Name: Nate Miles – 2026 – 6’2 G – Emmanuel Christian
Miles is one of the most highly touted freshmen in the Toledo area. He is a very big body and tall player. He doesn’t look like a freshman from a visual perspective. He also doesn’t play like one. The kid is a bucket. Three a level scorer. He uses his body super well to move people around when getting to the rim and around the rim. He has a very nice jumper. His size allows him to hit shots over defenders. Good off the dribble and catch and shoot player. Miles will be the second option for scoring for the Warriors this year but don’t be surprised if he gets some high-scoring games.
